Immerse yourself in Oak Park, Illinois, a neighborhood with the world’s largest concentration of Frank Lloyd Wright homes. En route to Chicago, learn the importance and influence of the architecture of FLW. Start your day with a guided tour of the Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studio. This cultural gem will delight you with its art-glass windows, breathtaking murals, and iconic furniture. Afterward, enjoy a walking tour on your own, map included, of nearby magnificent FLW structures, many of which are still private residences. After your walk, relax over lunch at the delightful Winberie’s. Our last stop is Pleasant Home, an important early Prairiestyle mansion built in 1897. Inside this national landmark, you’ll discover arts and crafts tiles, leaded glass windows, and impressive woodwork. Guests will need to navigate stairs and be able to stand for about one hour.
