I Spy in the Sculpture Park
Think about sculptures in a brand new way. Discover why an artist made a giant spider, how a sculpture moves in water and what it’s like to join in a sculpture “conversation.” Look for details of sculptures you never noticed before and have fun with materials in your I Spy backpack. Then hop off the tram for engaging family activities and finish on the amphitheater stage!
Alphabet Adventure
Participate in a fun, imaginative way to investigate Meijer Gardens —alphabet style. Learn the letters as you visit the shade garden, farm garden and amphitheater with tongue twisters, activities, songs and “search and finds.” Look for letters between the stops too—A is for arch, B is for birds, C is for cattails (good luck with X!). This is a great way to practice pre-reading skills during the summer.
