Papa Vegas originated in the ‘90s and was inspired by bands such as the Beatles, the Police, and Depeche Mode. Known for their melodic rock music, the band has two albums and has toured the U.S. Their biggest hit, "Bombshell," peaked at number 20 on the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart in 1999.
The Mines’ “epic indie pop rock” has attracted Grand Rapids fans since 2004. The band uses creative and dynamic song lyrics to draw listeners in. The band has two albums: the 2006 debut album Metropolis and the 2008 release People Music.
