Check-in from 4-6 pm, event lasts until 8 pm

Pre-registration is required by calling Julie at 616-975-3145 or Erin at 616-977-7683.  Register early to secure your check-in time and confirm total numbers 1 week prior to the event.

Cost:  Scouts are $6 each, siblings are $6 each, leaders (up to 2) $4 each, additional adults $10 each, Meijer Gardens member adults are no charge.

We’ve moved the date up to provide Scout Troops with a more enjoyable and less crowded experience while providing access to the spectacular displays both indoors and outdoors.

“Reflection” is the theme for this year’s Christmas & Holiday Traditions Around the World exhibition. Using a special Discovery Guide, Scouts will reflect on their own family’s holiday traditions, from cooking favorite foods to displaying special decorations, as they learn about the variety of ways people celebrate Christmas and other holiday traditions around the world. In the art room, scouts will create an ornament inspired by the tin folk art ornaments on the Mexico tree. They will also have an opportunity to work in teams to assemble a Szopka – a Polish nativity scene. Be sure to bring your camera to capture their creation!

Stop by the Railway Garden to see historic landmark buildings and enjoy trolleys, a train, and shimmering lights. Stroll through the lush Tropical Conservatory and enjoy hundreds of poinsettias and a 14-foot Moravian Star. Enjoy the Original Dickens Carolers singing beloved carols from 6-8 pm. Adventurous scouts may want to bundle up and enjoy a wintertime walk outdoors.

New this year:  A special patch is available for scouts to purchase in the gift shop.  The cost on Scout Night only is $4.25 ($4.95 regular price).

Fee: $6 each for scouts & siblings; $4 for each leader (up to 2 leaders per troop) $10 for additional adults (member adults are free)
