The Architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright Sold Out

Begin on the bus with an introduction to Frank Lloyd Wright by Larry Ten Harmsel, retired professor and historian. Learn the importance of the architect’s work in general, as well as his signature Prairie Style of early 20th century homes. Once at Oak Park, a Chicago suburb with the world’s largest concentration of Wright homes, enjoy a guided tour of the Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studio. Relax over lunch at Winberie’s and enjoy free time to view Wright’s other homes, Unity Temple or shop at the Oak Park Visitors Center, all within walking distance. Then board the bus to tour Robie House, a National Historic Landmark and the consummate example of Wright’s Prairie Style. Price includes transportation; tours of Wright’s Home and Studio and Robie House; lunch at Winberie’s; all gratuities and a light snack on the bus. Must be able to navigate stairs.
