The Moody Blues Sold Out
For nearly five decades, classic rock band The Moody Blues have been a musical mainstay with over 70 million albums sold, 18 platinum records and a place in rock history since their first release in 1964. Their first studio album featured the classic, “Tuesday Afternoon,” and the hits kept coming with “Your Wildest Dreams,” “I’m Just A Singer (In A Rock And Roll Band),” and “Nights in White Satin.”
The Moody Blues was inducted into the Hollywood Rock Walk of Fame in 1994. In the spring of 2001, the Imax film Journey into Amazing Caves, narrated by Liam Neeson and featuring a soundtrack with songs and performances by The Moody Blues, was released. Original members guitarist/vocalist Justin Hayward, bassist/vocalist John Lodge and drummer Graeme Edge continue to play sold-out shows and a new compilation album called, Timeless Flight, was released in 2013.
