Gilded Champagne Gardens Chandelier

Dale Chihuly first discovered glass while studying interior design at the University of Washington in Washington State. He has since been awarded seven honorary doctorates, has been collected in over 200 museums worldwide and has held one-man shows internationally. The Gilded Champagne Gardens Chandelier is made up of 568 pieces of glass connected to a steel armature. It weighs 1,175 pounds and took four days to install.
