Many of the sculptors with work in Michigan's Farm Garden have interesting backgrounds. Mary Zimmerman first got into art by helping sculptors produce castings of their work. She soon began to create some sculpture of her own. Her approach is to visualize her art through the eyes of children, to catch their imagination. Green Pastures is a sculpture of two sheep, done in painted bronze.
