Leaping Gazelle Fountain

Leaping Gazelle Fountain sculpture at Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park

This installation is actually composed of five different sculptures by the renowned Danish-American sculptor, Marshall Fredericks. Part of a gift of more thirty-six works by Fredericks from Frederik and Lena Meijer in anticipation of the opening of Meijer Gardens, it is one of the sculptor’s most celebrated works. The stylized form of the figures, sleek planes and strong contours are signatures elements of the artist’s style as is the metallic green patina.
