During the later 1960s, Beverly Pepper began to work as an active and experimental printmaker. One important series is closely related to her geometric, stainless steel sculptures of the period in which crisp, delineated forms, and the use of colors like white, yellow and blue, may be included. Pepper worked with inks but also vinyls and metallic foils. This example is one of several from the period and is among the most complex designs. This series was made at the famed 2RC Studio in Rome.
