Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park is committed to presenting fun, interactive and informative programs about plants, sculpture, the environment and the arts. From summer camps for preschoolers to sculpture lectures and demonstrations, there is a wide variety of intriguing programs for everyone.

Classes & Camps

More than 130 classes for adults, children, and parent/child pairs are offered year-round, and more than 30 engaging summer camps for children ages 4 to 14 are offered each summer.

Student Field Trips

By focusing on main ideas and hands-on learning, Meijer Gardens' educational offerings are both informative and engaging–whether it's a guided tour, classroom activity or self-led discovery.

The Master Lecture Series

The Master Lecture Series brings world-renowned gardeners, artists, authors and speakers to Meijer Gardens each spring and fall.

Plant Show Series

Serious gardeners and flower fanciers alike will be intrigued by the variety of flowers featured in the yearly Plant Show Series. Local plant societies and hobbyists showcase tropical orchids, bonsai, iris, herbs and more. Many of the shows feature workshops, demonstrations or tours.

Peter M. Wege Library

Open to all visitors, the Peter M. Wege Library offers reference materials on a wide variety of topics including: art history, plant care, sculpture, butterflies and birds, garden design, and more.
