Our Mission: An exciting program of cultural, social and educational events for young members of our community.
The Connection is a vibrant group of community members in the West Michigan Area in their 20s, 30s and 40s who wish to help "promote the enjoyment, understanding and appreciation of gardens, sculpture, the natural environments and the arts" in an innovative and fun way.Become a Member of The Connection
The Connection Member Benefits

The Connection members also receive:
- Free admission for one year.
- Discounts on Summer Concert Series tickets, classes, workshops and on merchandise in our gift shop.
- Free use of audio wands.
- Special invitations to members-only events.
- Reciprocal benefits at more than 200 national gardens, arboreta and conservatories.
Memberships are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
Membership fees are non-refundable
Join Now
Individual, $100 - one designated adult
Individual Add-A-Guest*, $125 - one designated adult and one guest per visit
Dual, $175 - two designated adults residing in the same household
Dual Add-A-Guest*, $200 - two designated adults residing in the same household and one guest per visit
Family**, $200 - one or two designated adults and children 18 and under, all residing in the same household
Family Add-A-Guest**, $225 - one or two designated adults and children 18 and under, all residing in the same household and one guest per visit
*The Add-A-Guest feature can be added to any membership of The Connection. This allows for free general admission for one guest per visit. Named member must accompany free guest. The Add-A-Guest feature pertains to General Member Benefits only - it does not apply to events for The Connection.
**The one or two designated adults receive The Connection and General Member benefits. The children 18 and under receive General Member benefits only.

This Members Only event features light hor d'oeuvres, Michigan beer, wine, an exclusive presentation by CEO David Hooker on the Japanese Garden and a tour of our latest exhibit, "Essence: The Horses of Deborah Butterfield."
