Meijer - Shedleski Picnic Pavilion

The new picnic pavilion provides a comfortable and beautiful environment for all guests to enjoy.

Details

Since 1995, a popular amenity of the Meijer Gardens guest experience has included outdoor picnicking in three areas of limited size. The new Meijer – Shedleski Picnic Pavilion and connected Frey Foundation Plaza has dramatically expanded the number of guests who together can enjoy this tradition. The pavilion offers convenient access to restrooms that are attached to the new amphitheater concessions building as well as to nearby parking. Not only does the new pavilion tie in with our architectural design, the natural beauty of the area strongly supports our mission and provides the appropriate space to meet the growing needs of our guests. The picnic pavilion provides a comfortable and beautiful environment for all guests to enjoy.

Guests are also welcome to picnic in the Lievense Indoor Eating Area located in the Courtyard Level of the Welcome Center, or on the back patio of the Lena Meijer Children's Garden Information Building.
