Complex Embodiment: Yinka Shonibare CBE and Disability

In this talk we will explore the entwined forces of disability, race, and colonialism in the life and work of Yinka Shonibare. By centering this intersectional approach, we will consider how complex identity and embodied experience can create a radical aesthetic that is also a tactic for political change.
