The Mavericks + Los Lobos

  • Thursday, July 25, 2019
  • 6:30 pm (5:15 pm gates open)
  • Presale: $62
  • Members: $65
  • Public: $67

The Mavericks + Los Lobos: The genre-defying Mavericks are declaring their independence and stepping out on their own with Brand New Day, the first studio album released on Mono  Mundo Recordings, the label they founded in 2016. “We’re a Mexican American band, and no word describes America like immigrant. Most of us are children of immigrants, so it’s perhaps natural that the songs we create celebrate America in this way.” So says Louie Perez, the “poet laureate” and primary wordsmith of Los Lobos, when describing the songs on the band’s new album, Gates of Gold.

An Evening with Lyle Lovett and his Large Band

  • Friday, July 26, 2019
  • 7:00 pm (5:45 pm gates open)
  • Presale: $63
  • Members: $66
  • Public: $68

An Evening with Lyle Lovett and his Large Band: A singer, composer and actor, Lyle Lovett has broadened the definition of American music in a career that spans 14 albums.

The Temptations + The Righteous Brothers Sold Out

  • Sunday, July 28, 2019
  • 7:00 pm (5:45 pm gates open)
  • Presale: $62
  • Members: $65
  • Public: $67

The Temptations + The Righteous Brothers: For more than fifty years, The Temptations have prospered, propelling popular music with a series of smash hits, and sold-out performances throughout the world. With a string of #1 classics, including the most played song in radio history, You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feelin’, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame duo of Bill Medley and Bobby Hatfield, The Righteous Brothers, topped the charts in four decades.

Dawes + Margo Price

  • Wednesday, July 31, 2019
  • 6:30 pm (5:15 pm gates open)
  • Presale: $45
  • Members: $48
  • Public: $50

Dawes + Margo Price: Once known for their honest approach to classic sounds, Dawes have grown into something different: a forward-thinking, boundary-pushing band for the 21st century, willing to follow inspiration wherever it leads. In 2015, Margo Price was a country underdog just trying to keep enough gas in the tank to get to the next gig, but by the end of 2016, she was one of the genre’s most celebrated new artists and a ubiquitous presence on late night television and at major festivals around the world.

An Evening with The Beach Boys Sold Out

  • Thursday, August 1, 2019
  • 7:00 pm (5:45 pm gates open)
  • Presale: $64
  • Members: $67
  • Public: $69

An Evening with The Beach Boys: You can capsulize most pop music acts by reciting how many hits they’ve had and how many millions of albums they’ve sold. But these conventional measurements fall short when you’re assessing the impact of The Beach Boys.

An Evening with CAKE Sold Out

  • Wednesday, August 7, 2019
  • 7:00 pm (5:45 pm gates open)
  • Presale: $70
  • Members: $73
  • Public: $75

An Evening with CAKE: CAKE’s adherence to their original guiding principles has only grown stronger. Originally formed as a somewhat antagonistic answer to grunge, CAKE’s democratic processes, defiant self-reliance, and lucid yet ever-inventive music has made them a nation-state unto themselves, with no obvious peers, belonging to no school.

Sarah McLachlan with Orchestra Sold Out

  • Thursday, August 8, 2019
  • 7:00 pm (5:45 pm gates open)
  • Presale: $92
  • Members: $95

  • 7:00 pm (5:45 pm gates open)
  • Presale: $72
  • Members: $75
  • Public: $77

Foreigner Sold Out

  • 7:00 pm (5:45 pm gates open)

  • Members: $82
  • Public: $84

With special guest Colorvine

With ten multi-platinum albums and sixteen Top 30 hits, Foreigner is universally hailed as one of the most popular rock acts in the world with a formidable musical arsenal that continues to propel sold-out tours and album sales, now exceeding 75 million.

JJ Grey & Mofro + Jonny Lang

  • Wednesday, August 14, 2019
  • 6:00 pm (5:00 pm gates open)
  • Presale: $66
  • Members: $69
  • Public: $71

JJ Grey & Mofro + Jonny Lang: From the days of playing greasy local juke joints to headlining major festivals, JJ Grey remains an unfettered, blissful performer, singing with a blue-collared spirit over the bone-deep grooves of his compositions. It is hard to believe that at 36 years old Jonny Lang has already had a successful career for two decades. Easier to believe when you learn he released his first platinum record at 15 -- an age when many young people are just beginning to play music.

SiriusXM Presents The Stray Cats 40th Anniversary Tour

  • Thursday, August 15, 2019
  • 7:00 pm (5:45 pm gates open)
  • Presale: $97
  • Members: $100
  • Public: $102

With special guest James Hunter

SiriusXM Presents The Stray Cats 40th Anniversary Tour: Stray Cats, the band that put Rockabilly music back on the record charts in the early '80s, scored several big hits on both sides of the Atlantic thanks to a striking visual 1950’s style brought “up to date” with exaggerated pompadours and colorful tattoos and as well as genuine musical chops that evoked the best players of rockabilly's original heyday.

Michael Franti & Spearhead Sold Out

  • Friday, August 23, 2019
  • 7:00 pm (5:45 pm gates open)
  • Presale: $48
  • Members: $51
  • Public: $53

Michael Franti & Spearhead: Michael Franti believes that there is a great battle taking place in the world today between cynicism and optimism, so he made his most recent album, Stay Human Vol. II, to remind himself and anyone else who’s listening, that there is still good in the world and that it is worth fighting for.

Coolers are allowed inside the Amphitheater, but we ask that they are not “large beach coolers” as courtesy to other concert-goers as they take up valuable seating space and cannot be used as chairs.

All coolers are subject to security searches.

All seating is general admission, first-come, first-served terraced lawn seating. Low-back chairs and blankets are welcomed. We suggest lining up earlier than the gate time for better seating opportunities.

We have a chair height policy in order for all guests to enjoy views from every spot on the Amphitheater hill. The policy is any low-back chair measuring 12" or less from the ground to the front of the seat bottom and 32" to the top of the chair back in its highest position will be allowed. Please note, inflatable chairs or couches that are higher than 12" from the ground at any point are not allowed.

Blankets can be used for seating, but please be courteous of other guests by not saving larger-than-needed amounts of grass.

If you’re in need of a chair, consider:

Chair rentals are available for standard-sized white plastic chairs. Rentals are $10 each and available in a first come, first serve basis.

To rent a chair, pay at the Box Office before lining up for the show and pick up chairs at the Box Office or inside the gates near the merchandise booth.

Rental chairs are to be placed in designated seating areas in the Amphitheater. Please be aware these areas are also first-come, first-served seating.

The Sponsored Seating section is a special area at the top of the Amphitheater—the Steve and Amy Van Andel East and West Terraces for Season ticket holders. At the current time, all seats are filled. If you would like to be placed on the waiting list (which numbers more than 120 individuals), please contact our Philanthropy Department at 616-975-3177 or abenson@meijergardens.org for more information.

Rain or shine! Bring your ponchos and/or smaller umbrellas if there’s a high probability of rain. Please be courteous to your neighbors by not blocking their views with large or golf umbrellas.

Our weather policy states if there is inclement weather in our area, the concert will be delayed until the threat has passed. The decision to continue a concert after adverse weather passes will be determined on a case-by-case basis, based on consultation with appropriate weather experts. If a storm or tornado situation arises and the concert needs to end, there will be no refunds.

Each artist has their own photography policy, which pertains to guests and media alike. Meijer Gardens helps enforce these policies by prohibiting all SLR / detachable lens cameras, iPads and video-recording / live streaming devices. Typically, photography is allowed with non-professional cameras. Please be considerate of guests around you when taking photos.

It is our intent to make the concert experience accessible to every guest. Meijer Gardens is an accessible facility and proudly complies with ADA regulations. Guests with medical or mobility issues may request special consideration for seating by visiting the Box Office window.

If seating in low chairs will be a mobility issue, we have a limited quantity of standard-height white plastic chairs, available for rent ($10). To rent a chair, make your payment at the Box Office, pick up your chair nearby and take it to one of the designated seating areas.

Barrier-free areas are marked in blue at the left and right top sections of the Amphitheater hill. View a map of the barrier-free seating locations HERE. Guests wishing to sit in one of these areas may be accompanied by one companion (or more if room is available). Guests in wheelchairs have priority—a limited number of wheelchairs are available for use during the concert at no charge.

Guests may line up outside the gates as early as they please. For more popular shows, many guests arrive several hours before gates open. Placing of an empty chair or “place holder” is not allowed—guests must be physically present to reserve their spots in line. The box office opens at 4 pm.

Refer to your ticket for information about when gates open—times vary— or on the concert schedule page.
