Join farmers and urban backyard gardeners for a morning devoted to the basics of growing your own food in the space available to you. Learn about plant needs, soil health, growing styles, container types, vegetables that do best in our zone and more. Participants will get their hands dirty using early spring starts from New City Farm’s greenhouses to create a 20-inch planter to take home and use for years to come. Gain confidence that you can have access to fresh seasonal veggies grown in your own space.
