Full-Time

A support position for the Balk Café. Responsible for assisting with sales, food production, floor support and customer service through use of the organization’s Guiding Principles. Required to work independently as well as with effective direction and support for other staff members, volunteers, and vendors.

Primarily responsible for operating and maintain cleaning equipment and tools. Also responsible for washing dishes, china ware, flatware, cutlery, crockery, kitchen vessels, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning and detailing equipment's etc. Maintains the kitchen, dishwashing and back area in an inspection-ready condition in accordance to Standard Operating Procedures.

Seasonal and Internships

The Membership Office Associate assists the Membership Department with new memberships, membership renewals and gift memberships. This seasonal opportunity occurs from November 15, 2021 through January 14, 2022 during the University of Michigan Health–West Chrismas & Holiday Traditions.

Responsible for setting up, stocking, serving and dismantling catering and/or beverage services for Meijer Gardens' Culinary Arts & Events department. Works independently, as well as with effective direction and service for other staff members, volunteers and vendors.
