Delivery: A Food Drive

Paul Villinski’s sculpture, Delivery, calls attention to food insecurity taking place all over the world. The artwork is inspired by a World War II bomber plane which, instead of explosives, drops sustenance for those in need. People from all walks of life can become food insecure, and many will find themselves in need at some point during their lifetime. In West Michigan and the Upper Peninsula, many neighbors are just a job loss or medical crisis away from not having enough to eat. Learn more about food insecurity during a lecture with Naim Edwards from 2 – 3pm and donate non-perishable food items from 11am to 5pm.
