Combining exterior and interior spaces, Spanish artist Cristina Iglesias creates immersive and experiential environments, which often incorporate water. In her Pozo (or Well) series, water rushes over sculpted metal boulders or tree roots. Mostly unseen until one peers over the artwork’s ledge, the subterranean landscape emerges like a magical, hidden cave.
