Marshall Fredericks is well known for his sculptures that include animal motifs. That can be seen in Siberian Ram, a sculpture that was first completed in 1941. Originally carved in limestone, Fredericks began making bronze casts of the sculpture in the mid-1960s in varying sizes. This was among the first sculptures installed at Meijer Gardens and gave rise to the name of the Ram’s Garden.
