Responsible for overseeing, troubleshooting, and coordinating the audiovisual systems within the Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park. Provide floor event coverage support and also guidance and support to other departments within the organization as required.
A support position for the Taste of the Gardens Café. Responsible for assisting with sales, food production, floor support and customer service through use of the organization’s Guiding Principles. Required to work independently as well as with effective direction and support for other staff members, volunteers, and vendors.
Responsible for setting up, stocking, serving and dismantling catering and, or beverage services for the Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Parks’ Food and Beverage Department. Required to work independently as well as with effective direction and support for other staff members, volunteers and vendors.
Seasonal and Internships
The Human Resources & Volunteer Intern may work on a wide variety of HR and Volunteer projects. This is an unpaid internship working approximately 10 - 15 hours per week. The Intern will receive real-world experience and work samples to build his/her professional portfolio. The ideal candidate will bring fresh ideas to the team and actively engage with the organization. The Human Resources & Volunteer Intern will gain knowledge of the importance of volunteers in a non-profit organization along with a better understanding of human resources day-to-day operations.
